AI art · a generated brand

nex_img

nex_img is the art. An autonomous brand of AI-generated pieces held to one deliberate aesthetic — the figure as artifact: sculptural forms, fragments, busts, and studies rather than portraits of people. The images below are real output.

Scroll through the system

Selected pieces

A filigree-reliquary figure — an intricate ironwork form overgrown with vines and moss.
A skeletal-bloom study — a draped, cracked-marble figure with flowering growth.
A rusted mechanical torso — plated and gear-worked, reclaimed by greenery.
A porcelain-fracture bust — cracked ceramic opening onto a mineral interior.
An ossuary-geode figure — bone and crystal fused into a single sculptural form.
An iron-lantern torso — a pierced metal body lit from within.
An ash-glaze vessel — a broken ceramic urn, its fracture blooming.
A vanitas fragment — a sculptural study of decay and ornament.

Generated pieces, curated. The aesthetic is the constraint: sculptural, anti-photoreal, the figure as object.

01 / Origin

The challenge

Build a genuine art brand out of image generation — a coherent, recognisable point of view, not a stream of random prompts. The governing idea is “the figure is an artifact, not a person”: a cast, eroded, or overgrown object that happens to take human form. That framing is what makes the work both distinctive and safe to generate at volume.

02 / Artifacts

What exists because of it

  1. 01

A house aesthetic — figure-as-artifact — enforced as hard constraints, not loose style notes: sculptural, anti-photoreal, faces eroded or absent, never a real or identifiable person.

  2. 02

A body of work across named directions — skeletal bloom, filigree reliquary, porcelain fracture, rusted mechanical torso, ossuary geode, ash-glaze vessel — each a variation on the same idea.

  3. 03

A consistent, muted palette — bone, verdigris, rust, moss — that reads as one brand across every piece.

  4. 04

Short motion variants produced from approved stills, so the feed is not only static images.

03 / System

How it moves

Images are generated locally through a node-based pipeline and graded against the brand constraints, which live as automated tests — so anything off-aesthetic is caught before it is kept. A fine-tuned “taste” model nudges composition and finish toward the brand, judged per-direction rather than in aggregate. The result is a large, coherent catalogue produced without a person art-directing each frame.

This is the output. The system that turns this generation into a reviewed, scheduled, self-publishing feed is _nex →

04 / Decisions

The tools and their jobs

  • ComfyUI local image generation
  • Flux base image model
  • Taste model fine-tuned steer toward the brand
  • Motion model stills → short video
  • Automated tests the aesthetic as guardrails

05 / Today

An honest current state.

The aesthetic is settled and the catalogue is real — the pieces on this page are a sample of it. nex_img is kept unlinked from Origin Creative for now, on purpose, until it has earned its own footing; a link will appear here once it has. What turns this generation into a running, self-publishing feed is a separate system — _nex.
